Easter

This Easter was spent with time at church and time with family. We attended our Church's Rock Opera on Good Friday. It was a modern day interpretation of Christ's death and resurrection. I took one of my students from school with me and we all had a really good time.

Saturday was pretty low key. We went for a drive in the country and scoped out some land. Ryan has, and will always want to live in a small town, so we went looking just for fun. We ate delicious food at a tiny little inn and took our pictures in the bluebonnets, overall a pretty good day.

Sunday, we went to church and then headed over to my parent's house for lunch and egg hunting. Kelly and her crew came over as well and we all brought eggs to hide for the kids. When Kelly counted up all the eggs we had stuffed, we had 150 eggs-- split between 3 kids. That is way too much chocolate for a three year old. We all agreed to scale back a little next year.  Over all a very successful Easter.

I love that picture of Andrew balancing! Your niece looks just like you and Kelly. And I agree about the chocolate thing...Hazel got SO much this year too. A friend and I were discussing when it was the Easter became like Christmas with the gifts! I'd like to tone it down too, but it's up the grandmas and I don't think they'll like that idea... :)
